Phillip Bloch

Style and Pop-Culture Expert
"Fashion Guru"
Actor
TV Personality

Biography

Phillip Bloch, the voice of all things fashion, is well-known for making Hollywood A-Listers look camera-ready. With years in the industry, a witty sense of humor and unique fashion insight, Phillip is the go-to-guy for style advice, fashion blunders, and life inside Hollywood. As well as dressing the likes of Halle Berry, Jim Carrey, John Travolta, Sandra Bullock, and Nicole Kidman, Phillip has emerged as an actor, style writer, designer, author, and fashion/TV personality.

Since 2000 Phillip has appeared in various independent and documentary films. THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE and THE INTERN both garnered critical acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival. Phillip’s experiences in his diverse roles have been as colorful as his personality. From playing a blind Southern introvert in THE UNSEEN to a slick gangsta in the 2003 Tribeca Film Festival premier DEATH OF A DYNASTY. He has worked with Director Tom DiCillo for DELIRIOUS and gave Santa a metrosexual makeover in Denis Leary’s MERRY F#%$IN’ CHRISTMAS, a Comedy Central special. His TV stints have included an appearance on the hit HBO series ENTOURAGE and co-host with STYLE ME WITH RACHEL HUNTER on WE Network.

Phillip often serves as a guest correspondent on CNN, ABC, E!, Style Network, Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight to provide fashion expertise and appears as a regular panelist and makeover specialist for MTV and VH1’s pop culture hits. Phillip has also taken his stylish input to print and has contributed to Elle and Detour.

In addition to serving as “fashion guru” for the media, Phillip has successfully launched a line of jewelry on QVC and has been chosen to serve as the spokesperson for Visa’s “Famous Streets Across America” program, Gillette’s “Turbo Mach III,” Cadillac Escalade, Marchon Eyewear (Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Nike, Fendi, and Coach), Clairol’s MC Max, Avon’s Little Black Dress, and Garnier’s Nutrisse. Along with his other promotional collaborations with Target Corps, Marshal Fields, Revlon, Estee Lauder, Panteen, eBay, DKNY and Neiman Marcus.
