Biography
They were two Jewish kids from Philly who grew up with Rock n Roll.<p>The Dovells, starring Jerry Gross and Mark Stevens, made their mark as the kings of early 1960's dance records! Some of their hits include "The Bristol Stomp", "You Can't Sit Down", "The Hully-Gully", and "Do The New Continental". They also starred in the motion picture "Don't Knock The Twist" and TV Special "Rock n Roll is Here to Stay".
The Dovells had great fun and excitement touring with Dick Clark, all the super acts of the 60's, and Bandstand.
