Biography
Dr. Furqan Tejani is the Director of Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at Long Island College Hospital. He practices clinical cardiology in addition to the practice of cutting edge imaging in Cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Tejani is also Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at State University of New York at Downstate and Associate Professor of Medicine at Saint Goerge's Medical School in Grenada. He is recognized nationally as one of the Top 25 innovators in Health Imaging and IT and internationally as one of the leaders in TeleMedicine and E-Health.
He lectures extensively on Telemedicine, E-health and Cardiac CT and MRI and is on the editorial Advisory board of a dozen peer reviewed journals.
