Biography

Everyone wants to cook more from scratch and eat less prepared food, but actually doing it daily is challenging. How can we even cook if few feel deprived of time to plan, shop, and prep? The answer, according to Mariel Hemingway, is to have a repertoire of doable, nutritious recipes that are tasty enough to be repeatable and that share lots of ingredients. With just a few easy tips and sensational recipes, Mariel, shows us that real, fresh and organic foods are within reach and can easily become a part of our every day menu.

For over 20 years, Mariel Hemingway has been pursuing her passion for yoga and health and is now seen as a voice of holistic and balanced health and well- being. As part of that role she has leads wellness retreats all over America, sharing her insights about movement, silence, nutrition, and home. Mariel believes that the health of the body mind and spirit is the first step in becoming conscious of the health and well being of the environment that surrounds us.
