Biography

Larysa DiDio is a certified personal trainer who has extensive experience in working with clients both over and under the age of eighteen. Her Get Fit with Larysa fitness DVD for 'tween girls was released in November 2008 with key corporate sponsors, Danskin and Skechers. In addition, she contributes to Girls Life magazine and has become the "unofficial" fitness badge trainer for the Girl Scouts of America.

Larysa has appeared on Good Day New York and in InStyle, Parenting, First For Women, and Destination Wedding Style magazines. In addition to her Get Fit With Larysa DVD for 'tweens, she also created an exercise video series for Redbook. While working towards her degree at Hunter College in Manhattan, she modeled athletic apparel for Spalding and Everlast, and also made it to the finals of the Ms. Fitness competitions.

Larysa and her husband own a fitness facility, PFX, in Pleasantville, New York, a center that has the distinction of being one of the first gyms to allow children as young as eight-years-old to become members. She created kid-specific classes, such as Boot Camp, Baby! and Get Fit for Prom - which has attracted national sponsorships, including Canyon Ranch, Lara Bar, Operation Fairy Dust, and Elle Magazine.

Larysa co-authored a book with best-selling author, Missy Lapine, entitled, Sneaky Fitness: Fun Foolproof Ways to Slip Fitness into Your Child's Everyday Life.

Larysa and her husband, Steve, live in Brewster, NY with their two children, nine-year-old Nicholas and six-year-old Isabella.
