Biography
Vicki Rackner MD, the founder
of The Caregiver Club, treated tens of thousands of patients as a board-certified
surgeon and faculty member of the University of Washington School of
Medicine. She left the OR to help family
caregivers avoid burnout, respond to their loved ones' health needs and manage
dark feelings like guilt and anger. She
tells stories based on her experiences as a physician, a patient and family
caregiver. Dr. Vicki, as she has come to
be known, is a nationally-noted expert in the doctor-patient relationship
regularly quoted by journalists at CNN, The
